  • Exploration at the Mt Mansbridge HREE Project for Red Mountain.

  • Exploration management at the Mt Kokeby Kaolin Project in WA for Australasian Resource Development Group.

  • Project appraisals and geology report for the Cardabia Creek Bentonite-Phosphate-Potash Project for GBA Capital.

  • Project appraisals and Information Memorandums for Cygnus Resources Stanley and Bencubbin Gold Projects.

  • Independent Technical Assessment Report on the Hawkstone Nickel-Copper-Cobalt Project, which helped facilitate the sale by North West Nickel to Chalice Gold Mines, making the shareholders multi-millionaires.

  • Permitting and approvals, drilling, and technical reports at the Palm Spring Gold Project in Halls Creek for Meteoric Resources.

  • Project assessment and exploration management for diamonds on the the West Ellendale Diamond Project in the West Kimberley for West Kimberley Diamonds.

  • Information memorandums and geological technical reports on nickel-copper, PGE, base metal, gold, phosphate, and rare earths projects throughout WA

  • Project portfolio analysis, review and prospectivity assessment with summary report of a client’s 21 tenements throughout WA        for multiple commodities including nickel, copper, cobalt, lithium, aluminium and diamonds

Yilgarn Province: Thatchers Soak (U) - similar in style to other calcrete uranium deposits in the region such as Yeelirrie, Lake Way and Centipede; Fraser Range (Au, Cu, Ni) - within the Proterozoic Albany-Fraser mobile belt on the south-east margin of the Yilgarn Craton where Siruius Resources has had much success at the Nova and Bollinger magmatic nickel sulphide and associated feeder zone deposits.

 

West Musgrave Province: Musgrave Project (Cu,Ni,Pt,Au) - near the Nebo-Babel deposits, the largest nickel-sulphide discovery since Voisey's Bay in Canada in 1993.

Investigated Woomera Prohibited Area (the largest land weapon-testing range in the world) explorer access (Au), around the Challenger Gold Mine, a multi-million ounce gold deposit operated by Kingsgate Consolidated.

 

 

Northern Territory

 

Tin Tantalite (Sn, Ta) within the Palaeoproterozozic Bynoe Pegmatite Field, in the western Pine Creek Orogen, North Australian Craton, NT.

 

 

Victoria

 

Morning Star Goldmine. 

 

 

New South Wales

 

Majors Creek (Elrington) goldfield in the highly prospective Lachlan Fold Belt of the Southern Tablelands region of NSW, targeting gold in the prospective I-type Braidwood Granodiorite.

Ukalunda Silver Province - Mt Wyatt, Drummond Basin. Low-sulphidation epithermal style gold prospectivity analysis where hydrothermal veins associated with jogs and bends related to major faults are intersected by reactivated faults with potential to host significant  <1Moz gold deposits

MCC - CAPE LAMBERT MAGNETITE PROJECT
$3 billion iron ore project

 

Key part of the MCC (China Metallurgical Group Corporation) team that added half a billion tonnes of ore through resource development drilling. China spent over $15 billion dollars on iron ore projects in Australia, its biggest overseas resource investment. Assisting with the development of the proposed Point Anketell State Industrial Area and Port infrastructure, in consultation with the WA Department of State Development (DSD) Simon's work involved liaison with API, FMG, Rio Tinto, various major consulting firms such as GHD, GRD Minproc, PB, Calibre Rail, Fugro, and Golders with regards to port and feasibility studies, and mine pit, resource, and geology models. ·

MCC presentation to Ngarluma Aboriginal Corporation (NAC), the Pilbara's biggest Aboriginal corporation, and government lobbyist Peter Dowding, the former Premier of WA.

DUKETON PROJECT - SOUTH BOULDER MINES
​
Simon worked on South Boulder Mines 3600km2 of major landholdings in the Duketon Greenstone Belt, a major gold and nickel province north of Laverton. Simon was also involved in the joint venture with Independence Group (IGO) whom discovered the C2 and Rosie nickel deposits.
